(1) The bankruptcy trustee shall have the right to—

1. deal with any property, including property which is perishable or which is likely to fall in value;
2. receive notices in place of the bankrupt;
3. commence or continue any legal proceedings in respect of the estate of the bankrupt; and
4. carry on the business of the bankrupt so far as may be necessary for the beneficial winding up of the affairs of the bankrupt.
