(1) The functions of the bankruptcy trustee shall be—
- to collect and realise the estate of the bankrupt;
- to distribute dividends to the creditors;
- to keep proper books of account of the administration of the estate of the bankrupt; and
- to perform such other functions as may be specified.
(2) The bankruptcy trustee shall take reasonable care for the realisation and distribution of the assets of the bankrupt's estate.
