In the long title of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), for the words "good governance, efficient, transparent and targeted delivery of subsidies, benefits and services, the expenditure for which is incurred from the Consolidated Fund of India", the words "good governance, efficient, transparent and targeted delivery of subsidies, benefits and services to individuals residing in India" shall be substituted.
