(1) The Adjudicating Authority may, on an application made by the bankrupt, pass a discharge order—
- on the expiry of one year from the bankruptcy commencement date, if the bankruptcy trustee has not objected to the discharge of the bankrupt; or
- on the expiry of two years from the bankruptcy commencement date, if the bankruptcy trustee has objected to the discharge of the bankrupt.
(2) The discharge order under sub-section (1) shall release the bankrupt from all the bankruptcy debts.
(3) The discharge order shall not release the bankrupt from excluded debts.
