- The Chairperson of the Appellate Tribunal shall exercise the administrative powers in respect of,
- matters pertaining to staff strength, wages and salary structures, emoluments, perquisites and personnel policies with prior approval of the Government;
- matters pertaining to creation and abolition of posts with prior approval of the Government;
- matters pertaining to appointments, promotions and confirmation for all posts with prior approval of the Government;
- acceptance of resignations by any Member(s) or officer(s) with prior approval of the Government;
- authorisation of tours to be undertaken by any Member, officer or employee within and outside State;
- matters in relation to reimbursement of medical claims;
- matters in relation to grant or rejection of leaves;
- permission for hiring of vehicles for official use;
- nominations for attending seminars, conferences and training courses within and outside State;
- permission for invitation of guests/ experts to carry out training course;
- matters pertaining to staff welfare expenses;
- sanction of new capital assets or scrapping/ write-off of capital assets which have become unserviceable or are considered beyond economical repairs
- all matters relating to disciplinary action against any officer or employee.
