- All licences, permits, passes, or authorisations granted under this Act shall be in such form and shall, in addition to or in variation or substitution of any of the conditions provided by this Act, be subject to such conditions as may be prescribed and shall be granted on payment of the prescribed fee:
Provided that every licence, permit, pass or authorisation shall be granted only on the condition that the [person applying] [These words were substituted for the words 'holder thereof,' by Bombay 22 of 1960, Section 36.] undertakes, and in the opinion of the officer authorised to grant the licence, permit, pass or authorisation is likely to abide by all the conditions of the licence, permit, pass or authorisation and the provisions of this Act.
