- The [State] [This word was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that any preparation containing alcohol not exceeding a specified percentage by volume shall be exempt from any of the provisions of this Act or rules, regulations or orders made thereunder.
