(1)

Application for renewal of a permit shall be made in writing within the period of time specified in section 81 of the Act, to the Regional Transport Authority or the State Transport Authority by which the permit was issued and shall be accompanied by Part A of the permit and shall accompany the prescribed application fee.

(2)

The application shall state the period for which the renewal is desired.

(3)

The Regional Transport Authority or the State Transport Authority renewing a permit shall call upon the holder to produce Part B or Parts A and B thereof, as the case may be and shall endorse Parts A and B accordingly and shall return them to the holder provided the renewal is granted.

(4)

The renewal, if allowed, shall be subject to the scale of fee as prescribed.
