- The Commissioner shall manage all water works belonging to the Corporation - all which water works are in this Act referred to as "municipal water work " - and maintain the same in good repair and efficient condition, and shall cause all such alterations and extensions to be from time to time made in the said water works as shall be necessary or expedient for improving the said works.
