The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the list of selected candidates for the post of Process Server at District & Sessions Court, Nuh (Mewat) dated 02.03.2022, vide which respondents No.3 to 7 were selected and appointed by respondent No.2. 2. category in Employment Notice/Advertisement dated 18.01.2022. He further contends that the selection was held on the basis of interview and the petitioner is not granted appropriate marks as per her capability. He, therefore, prays that the present petition be allowed and the select list dated 02.03.2022 be quashed. 3. Per contra, learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 argues on the lines of written statements and prays that the present writ petition be dismissed. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the whole file of this case with their able assistance.
5. It is stated in the written statement that the process of recruitment involved selection through interview for evaluating personality, general aptitude and suitability for the post. Applications were invited for 06 posts of Process Servers, out of which, 04 seats were for reserved for General Category and 01 post each for SC and BCA Categories. Maximum marks for interview were 30 and the candidates were given marks out of 30 based on their personality, general aptitude and suitability. The candidates, who secured maximum marks, as per aforesaid criteria, were selected. Petitioner secured 16 marks out of 30 marks, whereas, whereas the last person selected in General Category i.e. Santosh Kumar Lodhi (Roll No.3251) secured 24 marks out of 30 marks. Since the petitioner secured less marks than the last person selected in General Category, therefore, he has not been selected for the post of Process Server.
