Opposite Parties Represented by Adv. – Mr. S.K. Parhi, ASC CORAM: MR. JUSTICE ADITYA KUMAR MOHAPATRA ORDER 20.07.2026 Order No. 01. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode). 2. The subject matter of this petition is substantially similar to the case in State of Odisha & Ors. v. Saraswti Bhoi & Ors., 2022 (II) ILR-CUT-629. 3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that in the said case a direction has been issued for considering the similar representation for the grant of Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- (rupees four thousand two hundred) with effect from 01.12.2014 or any respective date on completion of 20 years of service in a single cadre towards the financial upgradation under RACP Scheme. 4. Mr. S.K. Parhi, learned Additional Standing Counsel appearing for the State-Opposite Parties very fairly agrees that the subject representation should meet his fate at the hands of Page 1 of 2. Opposite Party No.1 in the light of observations in Saraswti Bhoi (supra). With this proposal, learned Additional Government Advocate is agreeable, subject to the caveat that all contentions should be kept open and a reasonable period be prescribed for disposal of the subject representation. This is fair.
5. In the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of. Time for consideration and to inform the petitioner in writing the result of such consideration, is eight (8) weeks. All contentions are kept open. 6. It is open to solicit any information or document from the side of petitioner or from other officers, as are required for due consideration of the subject representation; however, in that guise delay shall not be brooked.
