IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK ABLAPL No.7479 of 2026 Subash Kumar Sukari and others …. Petitioners Mr.T.P.Mohapatra, Advocate -Versus- State of Odisha …. Opposite Party Mrs. S. Mohanty, ASC CORAM: MR. JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK ORDER 08.07.2026 Order No. 01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2. Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for pre-arrest bail of the petitioners in connection with Satyabadi P.S Case No. 68 of 2026 corresponding to G.R. Case No.190 of 2026 pending in the file of learned J.M.F.C, Satyabadi on the grounds stated therein. 3. Perused the FIR as at Annexure-1. A copy of the F.I.R. lodged from the side of the petitioners is submitted to the Court by Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel appearing for them. It is claimed that the dispute is in between two villages. The reason behind the lodging of the F.I.R. is revealed therein but with a counter allegation by the petitioners. The report reveals that there was theft of some articles from a temple and in that connection, the alleged incident took place. Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel would submit that there was pelting of stones against each other, and lodging of the F.I.Rs by both the sides. In fact, it is made to understand that the villagers exchanged verbal abuses and pelted Page 1 of 2
