Lenka, ASC CORAM: JUSTICE V. NARASINGH ORDER 17.06.2026 Order No. 01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State. 2. The Petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R. Case No.2086 of 2024 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Kendrapara arising out of Tantiapal Marine P.S. Case No.162 of 2024 for commission of offences punishable under Sections 87/ 65(1)/ 3(5) of BNS and Section 6 of the POCSO Act. 3. Admittedly, the present Petitioner was before this Court in ABLAPL No.435 of 2025. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that because of overwhelming circumstances, the Petitioner could not surrender. Hence, this application. 5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for pre-arrest bail, inter alia, on the ground that the Petitioner could have sought for extension.
6. Considering the nature of allegation qua the Petitioner and the earlier order passed, this Court directs that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the Petitioner shall be released on bail by the learned Court in seisin on such terms as deemed just and proper. 7. It is needless to state that the Petitioner shall cooperate with the ongoing investigation. 8. Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of. (V.
