The petitioner is before this Court seeking anticipatory bail in C.C.No.63654 of 2024 pending before the Court of X Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mayohall, Bengaluru registered for offence punishable under Section 500 of IPC. 2. The learned HCGP brings to the notice of this Court that offence punishable under Section 500 of IPC is bailable offence and therefore, the learned Session Judge has rightly dismissed the petition as not maintainable. 3. Perusal of the material on record would go to show that, cognizance has been taken against the petitioner for the aforesaid offence based on the private complaint filed by one Sri T. R. Muniraju Reddy. Under the circumstances, the learned Session Judge was fully justified in dismissing the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner as not maintainable. Therefore, I do not find any good ground to entertain this petition. Accordingly, criminal petition is dismissed. Sd/- (S VISHWAJITH SHETTY) JUDGE NMS/List No.: 1 Sl No.: 31
