- Every landlord and every tenant of a building shall be bound to furnish to the Controller or any person authorized by him in that behalf [or the authorized officer] [Substituted for 'Madras' by the Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 1996.] such particulars in respect of the building as may be prescribed.
