- Notwithstanding any thing contained in this Act, the provisions relating to the qualifications and disqualifications of the members of the board elected under this Act shall, as far as may be, apply in relation to the members co-opted to the board under sub-sections (2) and (4) of section 33, as they apply to the members elected to the board.] [Substituted by Tamil Nadu Act No. 4 of 2013, dated 23.2.2013, w.e.f. 31.1.2013.]
