Where the affairs of a registered society have been completely wound up, the Registrar shall make an order cancelling the registration of the society. On the cancellation of its registration, the society shall cease to exist as a corporate body from the date of such order of cancellation.

An order made under sub-section (1) shall be communicated by registered post to the society and to the financing bank, if any, of which the society was a member.
