- Any registered society may, in accordance with and subject to such conditions as may be specified in the Rules made in this behalf, resolve to convert itself into a registered society of a class or category different from the one to which it belongs:
Provided that where any amendment of the bye-laws proposed by a society is in the opinion of the Registrar, such as to convert the society into a society of a class or category different from the one to which it belongs, the Registrar may direct the society to take action under this section.
