.Nothing in the last preceding section shall prevent the parties from applying to the Court, or the Court from making the order of reference, under the said [section 21 of the Arbitration Act, 1940 (10 of 1940)] [Substituted by Act 10 of 1940, Section 49 and Sch.IV, for "section 312 of the said Code of Civil Procedure " .].
