(1)
No foreigner shall, without the permission in writing of the civil authority, either enter any premises relating to [or accept employment in, or in connection with,
(i) any undertaking for the supply to Government or to the public of light, petroleum, power or water; or
(ii) any other undertaking which may be specified by the Central Government in this behalf.]

The management of any undertaking referred to in a sub-paragraph (1) shall furnish to the civil authority such information regarding foreigner employed in that undertaking and make available for inspection such records and registers as may be called for by the authority.] [Substituted by S.O.340, dated 24.1.1964.]
