- If the Bank is satisfied that in the public interest or in the interest of the depositors of a non-banking financial company it is necessary so to do, the Bank may, by order in writing, prohibit the non-banking financial company from accepting any deposit.
- The Bank may also, by order in writing, direct the non-banking financial company against which an order has been issued under sub-section (1) not to sell, transfer, create a charge on, or otherwise deal with its property and assets without the prior written permission of the Bank.
