- The Bank may, in the public interest, determine the policy relating to-
- the entry of new non-banking financial companies into the business of accepting deposits;
- the quantum of deposits, the period for which deposits may be received, the interest payable thereon and other terms and conditions;
- lending and investment activities of non-banking financial companies.
- The Bank may give directions to non-banking financial companies generally or to a class of non-banking financial companies to comply with the requirements of any policy so determined.
