- If it comes to the knowledge of the distillers that any person employed by him in the manufacturing, storage, receipt, blending, reducing or issue of spirits has committed any breach of the Assam Excise Act, 2000 or rules framed there under or of the engagements entered into him, it shall be his duty to report the matter to the office-in-charge and comply with the directions of that officer respecting the continued employment of such persons. The office-in-charge shall report the matter together with the action taken by him to the Superintendent of Excise who will take thereon such action, if necessary with the approval of the Excise Commissioner as he may think fit.
