This Act may be called the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, Act, 1966.

It shall come into force on such [date] [1.4.1967: Vide Notification No. S.O. 1115(E), dt. 29.3.1967.] as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
