Every School shall have a School Board. Each School Board shall consist of the following members, who shall hold office for a period of three years:

(i) The Dean of the School (ex-officio)

(ii) Heads of Department in the School (ex-officio)

(iii) All Professors in the School

(iv) One Reader and one Lecturer from each of the Departments by rotation according to seniority

(v) One representative from each of the Board of other schools, which have inter-disciplinary work with the School, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.

(vi) Minimum of one outside expert for each subject / department who are not employees of the University or any of its affiliated colleges / institutions to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor / Academic Council.

The powers and functions of the School Board shall be prescribed by the Ordinances.

The conduct of the meetings of a School Board and the quorum required for such meetings shall be prescribed by the Ordinances.
