Nothing in the Indian Limitation Act, 1877, and no agreement made after this Act comes into force, shall bar the right of the malguzars of any mahal assessed with land-revenue to demand revenue, in respect of any land which, having been taken into account in such assessment, has been held by any, person without payment of revenue. The Chief Commissioner may, in his discretion, exempt any case from the operation of this section.
