The collector shall prepare and maintain-- (a) a register of all revenue-paying villages, mahals, thoks or other units, specifying the revenue assessed on each and the person by, or through whom it is payable; and (b) a register of all revenue-free and revenue-assigned villages and areas, specifying the authority and conditions for exemption or assignment as the case may be.
