(1)
The amount by way of compensation or relief to the victim or restitution of property and the environment, ordered by the Tribunal to be paid shall be remitted to the authority, specified under sub-section (3) of section 7A of the Public Liability Insurance Act, 1991 (6 of 1991), within a period of thirty days from the date of order or award or as otherwise ordered by the Tribunal.

In the case of failure to remit the amount by the concerned person, under sub-rule (1), within the time so specified, the District Collector of the concerned district shall file a complaint, before the Court having jurisdiction, under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 30 of the Act.

The amount referred to in sub-rule (1), shall be credited to the Environment Relief Fund under section 24 of the Act for utilisation under any heads specified in Schedule II to the Act.
(4)
A separate account shall be created and maintained by the authority referred to in sub-rule (1) for the purpose of receiving and disbursement of the amount pursuant to the order or award of the Tribunal.
