(1)

Each apartment owner shall be entitled to the exclusive ownership and possession of his apartment [in accordance with the Declaration executed and registered as required by section 2 of this Act.] [These words were deemed always to have been added by Maharashtra 6 of 1974, Section 5.]

Each apartment owner [shall execute a Deed of Apartment] [These words were substituted for the words 'shall execute a Declaration that he submits his apartment to the provisions of this Act and a Deed of Apartment,' by Maharashtra 53 of 1974, Section 4.] in relation to his apartment in the manner prescribed for the purpose.
