Section 3

One Police Force for the whole State

There shall be one Police Force including the State Reserve Police Force established under section 145 for the whole of the State:

Provided that the members of the Police Forces constituted under any of the Acts mentioned in Schedule I, immediately before coming into force of this Act, shall be deemed to be the members of the said Police Force.
