The Vice-Chancellor, ex-officio;

The Dean of Students, ex officio;

Not more than three Deans of Schools of Studies, by rotation according to seniority;

Not more than three Principals of Colleges including at least one Principal from a Women's College, by rotation according to seniority;

Three persons, none of whom shall be an employee of the University or an institution recognised by, or associated with, the University, elected by the Court from among its members.;

Four persons, nominated by the Visitor;

Such number of other persons representing institutions recognised by, or associated with, the University, as may be determined by the Visitor, from time to time.

(2)

The members of the Executive Council referred to in items (iii) and (iv) shall hold office for a term of two years.

(3)

The members referred to in items (v), (vi) and (vii) shall hold office for a term of three years.

(4)

The term of office of the members of the Executive Council shall commence from the date of election, nomination or appointment, as the case may be.

(5)

Five members of the Executive Council shall from the quorum.
