Collector to exercise powers of Civil Court

- A Collector making any enquiry under this Act may exercise any power conferred by the [Code of Civil Procedure ] [ See now the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908).] on a Civil Court for the trial of suits (14 of 1882).
