(1) The Presidency-towns Insolvency Act, 1909 and the Provincial Insolvency Act, 1920 are hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, any court proceeding under either of the Acts so repealed, pending immediately before the date on which this Code comes into effect, the proceedings shall continue to be dealt with by such court.
