(1) Where the Board has reasonable ground to believe that any insolvency professional agency or information utility has contravened any of the provisions of this Code or the rules or the regulations made thereunder, the Board may, at any time by order in writing, direct any person to investigate the affairs of such insolvency professional agency or information utility.
(2) For the purposes of investigation under sub-section (1), the investigating authority may require—
- the insolvency professional agency or information utility, as the case may be, to provide such information as the investigating authority may require; and
- any person associated with the insolvency professional agency or information utility, as the case may be, to furnish such information as may be required by the investigating authority.
