(1) Any person aggrieved by an order of the Debt Recovery Tribunal may prefer an appeal to the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal within thirty days from the date of the order.

(2) The Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal may, if satisfied that the person was prevented by sufficient cause from filing an appeal within thirty days, allow an appeal to be filed within a further period not exceeding fifteen days.
