Delegation .-The Reserve Bank may, with the previous approval of the Central Government, by order, delegate any of its powers or functions

Factors to be taken into account by the Central Government and the Reserve Bank while giving or granting permissions or licenses under the Act .-Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, the Central Government or the Reserve Bank, as the case may be, shall, while giving or granting any permission or license under this Act, have regard to all or any of the following factors, namely:

Short title, extent, application and commencement .-(1) This Act may be called The Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973

Definitions .-In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,

Classes of officers of Enforcement .-There shall be the following classes of officers of Enforcement, namely:

Appointment and powers of officers of Enforcement .-(1) The Central Government may appoint such persons as it thinks fit to be officers of Enforcement
