- No tribe, gang or class, shall be settled or removed under the provisions of this Act until such arrangements as the Local Government shall, with the concurrence of the [President] [A.L.O., 1950 [C.O. 4], dated 26-1-1950 (w.e.f. 26-1-1950)] in Council, consider suitable, have been made for enabling such tribe, gang or class, or such part thereof as is to be so settled or removed, to earn a living in the place in or to which it is to be settled or removed.
