(1) There shall be constituted a fund to be called the "Competition Fund" and there shall be credited thereto—

all grants made by the Central Government under section 50;
all fees received by the Commission under this Act;
the interest accruing on the amounts credited to the Fund; and
all monies received by the Commission from such other source as may be decided upon by the Central Government.

(2) The Fund shall be applied for meeting—

the salaries and allowances payable to the Chairperson, Members, Director General, Additional, Joint, Deputy or Assistant Directors General and the officers and other employees of the Commission and the Director General;
the other expenses of the Commission in connection with the discharge of its functions and for the purposes of this Act.
