-E. Application of Section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, and of the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958. (1) Nothing contained in Section 562 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (5 of 1898)78, or in the Probation of Offenders Act, 1958 (20 of 1958), shall apply to a person convicted of an offence under this Act unless that person is under eighteen years of age.

The provisions of sub-section (1) shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (3) of Section 9.]

Section 10. Power of Courts to order forfeiture

Any Court trying an offence under this Chapter may order the forfeiture to 79[Government] of any goods in respect of which the Court is satisfied that an offence under this Chapter has been committed, and may also order the forfeiture of any receptacles, packages or coverings in which such goods are contained and the animals, vehicles, vessels or other conveyances used in carrying the goods, and any implements or machinery used in the manufacture of the goods.
