376. Procedure where prisoner of unsound mind is reported capable of making his defence.

If such person is confined under the provisions of section 368, and the officer in charge of the jail certifies that in his opinion the person is capable of making his defence, the Magistrate or Court shall proceed with the case and shall examine the person, and if he is satisfied that the person is capable of making his defence, shall deal with such case as if the person were of sound mind.
