Power to investigate

(1)

Any excise officer may investigate any offence punishable under this Act.

(2)

Any police officer, not below the rank of [Assistant Sub-Inspector] [Substituted 'Sub Inspector' by Bihar Act No. 10 of 2020.] may investigate any offence punishable under this Act.
