General effect of vesting of undertaking in the Authority .-(1) All contracts, agreements and working arrangements subsisting immediately before the appointed day and affecting the International Airports Authority, or as the case may be, the National Airports Authority shall, in so far as they relate to the International Airports Authority, or as the case may be, the National Airports Authority, cease to have effect or be enforceable against the International Airports Authority, or as the case may be, the National Airports Authority and shall be of as full force and effect against or in favour of the Authority in which the undertakings have vested by virtue of this Act and enforceable as fully and effectually as if, instead of the International Airports Authority, or as the case may be, the National Airports Authority, the Authority had been named therein or had been a party thereto
Allocation of surplus funds .-(1) The Authority may, from time to time, set apart such amounts as it thinks fit as a reserve fund or funds for the purpose of expanding existing facilities or services or creating new facilities or services at any airport, civil enclave, heliport or airstrip or for the purpose of providing against any temporary decrease of revenue or increase of expenditure from transient causes or for purposes of replacement or for meeting expenditure arising from loss or damage from fire, cyclone, air-crash or other accident or for meeting any liability arising out of any act or commission in the discharge of its functions under this Act:
