(1)

There shall be kept by the Commissioner under a separate heading in the municipal accounts, of all the property vested or vesting in the corporation and of all receipts and expenditure of the corporation on account of the transfer to them of the powers, duties, assets and liabilities of the Board of Trustees constituted under the City of Bombay Improvement Trust Transfer Act, 1925, [and of all property acquired by, and of all receipts and expenditure of, the Corporation for any of the purposes of Chapter XII-A.]

Such accounts shall be maintained so far as may be, in such manner and in such forms as the [Standing Committee] [These words were substituted for the words 'Mayor-in-Council' by Maharashtra 27 of 1999, section 53 and 54, (w.e.f. 23-4-1999).] shall from time to time prescribe in accordance with the rules contained in Schedule BB.
