(1)

The Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Committee may, from time to time, appoint out of their own body sub-Committees consisting of such number of persons as the Committee may think fit.

The Committee may by specific resolution carried by the vote of at least two-third of their number present at the meeting delegate any of their powers and duties to a sub-Committee and may also by a like resolution define the sphere of business of such sub-Committee.

The Committee may refer to a sub-Committee appointed under sub-section (1) for inquiry and report or for opinion any matter with which the Committee is competent to deal.
